Did the Mardi Gras After Party headliners just get leaked?

By Ben GrubbJanuary 26, 2024, 5:22am
Adam Lambert and CeCe Peniston.

An unconfirmed version of the Mardi Gras After Party lineup looks like it just got leaked – by the official Instagram account of one of the artists on the list.

Just after 5pm AEDT on Friday, CeCe Peniston (who sings “Finally”) posted the purported 2024 lineup to her account with the caption: “Can’t wait to see you for Sydney #mardigras …… I’m excited”.

Among the purported lineup, which includes Peniston herself, is Adam Lambert (“Ghost Town”), Ultra Naté (“Show Me”) and Keiynan Lonsdale (“Kiss the Boy”).

The post was deleted just before 7.30pm.

Friday is a public holiday in Australia.

The After Party ticket sells for $246.95, which includes a $7.95 booking fee.

We’ve reached out to the Mardi Gras organisation for comment.

We’ll keep you updated in the comments section if we hear any official response.

The official Mardi Gras After Party lineup has not yet been published. The Bondi Beach Party lineup is also yet to be released.

However, Mardi Gras has this week been posting the lineups for other official Mardi Gras parties.

Laneway, for instance, has pop group Cub Sport as its headliner and the Ultra Violet party has singer May-A.

What do you think of the purported Mardi Gras After Party lineup for 2024?

Let us know in the comments.

Editor’s note: GSN editor Ben Grubb pays a $50 annual fee for access to Mardi Gras membership discounts.
