The queer-community party collective Heaps Gay will mark its 12th birthday with a large-scale street party in Marrickville this Saturday (November 29).

The event, themed "Roadwerk", will run from 2pm to 11pm and take over Saywell Street and nearby laneways, with full road closures in place for three outdoor stages.

The one-day festival features an extensive local and international line-up across house, dance, nu-disco, rock, pop and other music genres. Dozens of DJs, performers and collectives are programmed across the three stages.

International artists include ISAbella and Reysha Rami, while Australian acts on the bill include electronic music duo Cosmo's Midnight, club/pop music duo 2Charm, pop duo Cat & Calmell, the ballroom scene's House of Silky, Djanaba and MAZ.

Second-release tickets cost $79.99 including booking fees and are available via oztix.com.au. To avoid an extra charge, remove the default $1.50 SMS ticket delivery option at checkout.
