Bodyline to officially re-open in time for Halloween

Darlinghurst sex-on-premises venue Bodyline will officially re-open to the public on Friday, October 27, Gay Sydney News can exclusively reveal.

The venue has undergone a “complete renovation”, it tells us.

Entry will cost $20 Monday through Thursday or $15 for those aged 18-24.

Prices go up to $30 for all ages between Friday 2pm and Monday 6am. However, there is $18 entry available between 12pm and 2pm Monday through Friday.

Bodyline’s “wet” area has been refurbished and there are new showers and bathrooms, as well as a new spa, sauna and steam room.

There’s also a new “luxe lounge area”, new lockers, and a new sound system + LED lighting throughout.

The long-awaited re-opening of the venue comes after ARQ Sydney was approved by council to allow its patrons to enter Bodyline via an internal passageway dubbed the “tunnel of love” by club insiders.

The construction of the “tunnel” is under way and will not be ready in time for Bodyline’s re-opening.

ARQ and Bodyline are both on the same block of land and are owned and operated by Shadd Danesi.

Bodyline will operate 12pm to 6am weekdays & 24 hours on weekends.

Bodyline competes against venues including Sydney Sauna and The Bunker on Oxford Street, TRADE on Crown Street in Darlinghurst, 357 in the CBD, and Arrows in Rydalmere.

Main rival Sydney Sauna's pricing ranges from $20 to $30 depending on the night and time of entry. Sydney Sauna also provides a discount for concession card holders.

Before it opens to the general public, Bodyline says it will be available to Twitter (now called X) and OnlyFans creators who would like to film content at the venue.

“Anyone wanting to be involved can fill out the form in our Insta bio @bodylinesydney,” Bodyline said.

Bodyline has been closed since the COVID-19 pandemic began. It was expected to re-open at the same time as ARQ in December. Instead, the venue has remained closed with no firm date for re-launch until now.
